Teaching isnt easy! Either is running a school! What is needed?
The key to making your job easier, is to discover (or improve) your ability to help your students take more responsibility for their own learning and assessment. Come learn proven ways to develop and increase the quality of your work and learning.
Are you interested in your students improving the quality of their work? Are you interested in helping them take more responsibility for their academic and behavioral choices?
There are some proven tools and techniques to accomplish this, and they are based on sound psychological theory! "Choice Theory", by Dr. William Glasser, provides the psychological framework. The questioning process, based on Reality Therapy, works as an individual and/or group problem-solving tool. Finally, the Pathways to Quality are a synthesis of best practices. Understanding these tools and techniques will help you plan, assess and adjust your teaching or managing practices to be consistent with student motivation.
This workshop is always taught by professional educators. This 3-day mix of learning and challenge promises to impact your professional practice on several levels. These concepts, tools and techniques will change your life! As an added benefit, participation in this event qualifies you for 18 hours of professional development credit, which you may apply toward certification or certificate renewal.
